Adams Farm

Adams Farm
Adams Farm is a 725 Acre residential community of approximately 1600 residents located in a tranquil setting of gently rolling hills, lush woodlands and open spaces, just minutes from the cities of the Triad. It is a special community of neighborhoods, each containing approximately 25 to 75 residences. Large enough to allow for a neighborhood identity, yet small enough to encourage a sense of genuine friendliness. It is a place where the quality of life is as carefully planned as the quality of the homes.

The neighborhoods of Adams Farm share special design features. For example, most residential streets are circles or cul-de-sacs, resulting in no through traffic — and very little traffic in general, since passing vehicles are merely going to or coming from neighborhood homes. For security and privacy, no homes at Adams Farm face the main parkway, which winds through the community. Adding to the sense of privacy is an arrangement that does not allow homesites to be exposed back-to-back. Rather, there are beautiful, natural buffers — giving the feeling of a small neighborhood and the resulting peace of mind.

Preserving the pristine beauty of the natural surroundings at Adams Farm are open spaces and greenways where residents can stroll and relax. All neighborhoods and facilities are joined by a four mile network of jogging and biking trails that safely avoid traffic on the main parkway by means of under-road tunnels.

Adams Farm is conveniently located — downtown Greensboro, downtown High Point, the Four Seasons Mall, the Friendly Shopping Center, the New Shoppes at Friendly, and the Piedmont International Airport are just a few miles away –, and it’s less than a five minute drive to I-40 and I-85. Adams Farm also has its own convenient 17 acre shopping plaza located right at the entrance to the property, featuring dine-in and take-out restaurants, dental offices, a Harris Teeter 24 hour food store, MacPhersons Bar and Grill, and numerous other businesses. A day care center is located at Adams Farm Parkway and Bridle Ridge Parkway.

To accommodate a wide variety of lifestyles, Adams Farm has a Community-wide system of recreational facilities. The Swim & Tennis Club features four lighted competition-style Omni Tennis Courts, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a play pool with a thrilling water slide, and a children’s pool.

For fishing fanciers, there is a stocked 17-acre lake with decorative fountains. For the younger children, there is a newly up-graded playground with numerous slides, swings, and other diversions to keep them occupied and amused. There is a picnic area and multi-purpose athletic fields for soccer, football, baseball, or any other sport which might interest you.

Unlike you or I, standard developments don’t get better with age. However, Adams Farm has proven the exception — An active, and protective Homeowners Association has kept the neighborhoods, facilities and homes fresh and attractive over the 25 years since its inception.
